This gorgeous 12 week old Border Collie cross is on the search for her new family.
Piper is your typical puppy - energetic and adorable, but with all the attributes of the border collie breed aka super smart!
Piper is house trained, lead trained and has basic obedience but of course in true working dog style she does need to be constantly entertained to avoid her getting up to mischief.
Piper lives with one of her siblings and loves to run and play with him, and also really enjoys the company of cats! She is well socialised with older and bigger dogs too, and has been introduced to kids although doesn't live with any.
Piper needs a new family that has very secure fences, as when she's older she will be very agile. At the moment being so little, she can squeeze through any areas she wants to explore to occupy her puppy curiosity, so we need her new family to be prepared for a rigorous yard check.
Piper needs a family who will take her to puppy training, and then further training once completed. This is non negotiable. She is incredibly intelligent and needs a family that understand Border Collies are smarter than the average dog, with energy to burn, so formal training where she can gain social skills with other dogs is vital.
Piper is not a puppy for couch potatoes. She will be a very energetic dog and will need daily exercise, both physically and mentally.
All up Piper is a very confident and social little girl who loooooves cuddles and food and will make the most wonderful loyal companion for a very lucky family.
