INTRODUCING JILL

FOSTER WITH VIEW TO ADOPT FAMILY NEEDED!!!

Darling Jillian Jiggs is just a small pup, at around 6 months old this little snuggle bunny has not had the best start to life and needs a loving family to help her grow and shine to be the little star we know she is!

JillJill is a mixed breed dog, only around 10kg, and at an educated guess we have her listed as a whippet x staffy. Jill has all the loyalty of a Staffordshire and the cheekiness of a whippet. She is playful and fun, loves exercise and most importantly adores to snuggle!

Little Jill however has a few things she does not like which is why we would love to get her into a foster home with view to adopt, so we can help her new family with her needs and training. Jill does not like to be left alone for long periods. She has improved amazingly so since coming in to care, but she is a velcro dog, which means she would prefer to be at your side as much as possible. Jill is not good with men, in fact she is rather petrified of adult males so needs a home without any males, which we understand rules out most homes but she has a long way to go before she doesn't feel threatened by men and in the meantime needs a male free house. Jill is also scared of dogs and cats she doesn't know. She is fine with dogs and cats once she has lived with them for a while, but because it takes her quite a while to feel safe around them it would be best to have her in a pet free home unless her new people have the patience to do gradual introductions over a few days/weeks.

Jilly loves her soft toys, squeaky toys and running around the yard. She is lead trained and loves a good walk and would make an excellent exercise buddy. She has sooooo much potential and with more confidence building will be the kind of dog who would walk through fire for you, her loyalty is amazing, and her need to have a special human in her life really shines through, she so desperately wants to love someone with all her heart.

If you are looking for a new canine pal, best friend, protector, snuggle buddy, who will look at you like you are their whole world, then please consider having this stunning girl in your life. She does need a family who is home a lot, no other pets, and no males, which is a big ask, but boy is she worth it!!!

Dog Adoption Policy

Please note: completing an adoption form does not guarantee that an adoption will take place.

Melbourne Animal Rescue Inc. reserves the right to choose the most suitable applicant and reject those deemed less suitable.

Occasionally, there can be multiple applications for the one animal and there is NO 'First In - Best Dressed' - the multiple applications are vetted for the most suitable.

We do our utmost to contact all applicants, including those who are unsuccessful, to inform them of the result but as we are staffed by volunteers, most of whom work full time, occasionally responses are overlooked and we apologise in advance if this occurs.

MAR does not adopt to those who are not permanent residents of Australia.
