AS OF 30/5/2020 - KEWPIE IS OUT ON TRIAL
Kewpie, Kew Kew, Kew Ball, Kewpie pie - this adorable boy has so many names and is loved by so many, but he only wants one family to give his heart to.
Kewpie is a little dreamboat, he may be a little older in years but has the cute looks of a puppy and is very much still young at heart! Kewpie is perfectly well trained, he is honestly so sweet and obedient - he knows how to “sit”, “stay”, “wait”, “drop”, “shake hands” and has really mastered “steal our hearts”!
Kewpie is also perfectly lead trained and toilet trained and doesn’t mind a car ride either. Kewpie can take a while to warm up at first - he is a sensitive soul - but once he does he is loyal, fun and very cuddly.
He would suit a family with kids no younger than 12 and he prefers to be the only animal in a household.
He has never lived with other pets and much prefers the company of humans than other furred pals. Kewpie also prefers to be with a family that is home a lot, he will not like living with people who work full-time, by the way, we mean forever, not just during Covid-19!
Kewpie loves his exercise and daily outings and is such a little fluffy gentleman while on the lead too! All up we can’t fault Kewpie, he is Devine, honestly…..and we know we are going to get so many people that want to lavish him with love for the rest of his happy life based on his photos alone…..so just to reiterate what his needs are -
No young children, no children under the age of 12.
No full-time workers, now, or in the future Kewpie is playful and active, therefore he won’t be suitable to elderly people.
Kewpie needs a pet-free house. Now and in the future. He has never lived with other pets.
Kewpie needs a yard, not an apartment balcony.
If you have read all Kewpies profile and think you could be a great match we would love for you to fill in an application form - this is the link - Adoption Application
If you don’t fulfil the criteria we will not be getting back to you, enquiries also do not count as applications, so PLEASE only apply if you meet the criteria!
This little boy deserves the very best and we can’t wait to see him happily safe and sound with a new forever family to spoil him forever!
Kewpie will need to be monitored for dental issues in the future, even though he has had a clean bill of health he has a small mouth so dental hygiene is important.

Dog Adoption Policy
Please note: completing an adoption form does not guarantee that an adoption will take place.
Melbourne Animal Rescue Inc. reserves the right to choose the most suitable applicant and reject those deemed less suitable.
Occasionally, there can be multiple applications for the one animal and there is NO 'First In - Best Dressed' - the multiple applications are vetted for the most suitable.
We do our utmost to contact all applicants, including those who are unsuccessful, to inform them of the result but as we are staffed by volunteers, most of whom work full time, occasionally responses are overlooked and we apologise in advance if this occurs.
MAR does not adopt to those who are not permanent residents of Australia.
